On 29th June 2023, President Nana AddoDankwa Akufo-Addo awarded the Health Workers in the country.
Given this, The Asutifi North District were not left out, about 30 of the awardees were workers from the District.
In other words, The District also intend to congratulate them for the massive work done for National.
The District Chief Executive Hon. Anthony Mensah applauded them for winning such an award.
He also stated that due to this award, there would be great competition in executing your duties as a health worker. The health service is one of the essential institutes they are to work with passion, not a fee.
The Regional Health Director Dr. Boateng applauded them for saving lives in the District.
