On Wednesday, 15th April, 2026, an inspection was conducted on the ongoing renovation works within the Asutifi North District Assembly. The inspection was led by the District Coordinating Director, Abdul-Aziz Jafaru, as part of management’s commitment to ensuring quality, timely completion, and adherence to project specifications.
The inspection aimed to: Assess the progress of the renovation works, ensure that work is being carried out according to approved specifications and standards, Identify challenges affecting the progress of the project, Engage contractors and site supervisors on timelines and quality expectations and Provide management oversight and guidance where necessary.
The inspection team comprised: District Coordinating Director – Abdul-Aziz Jafaru, Heads of relevant Departments/Units, Works Department Officials.
During the inspection, the team observed the following: Renovation works were actively ongoing at the project site, Significant progress had been made on structural repairs and refurbishment, Materials being used were generally in line with approved standards, Some minor delays were noted due to logistical and supply challenges and Safety precautions were being observed by workers on site.
The District Coordinating Director directed that: The contractor should expedite work to meet the project timeline, Quality standards must be maintained throughout the renovation period, Site supervisors should intensify monitoring of daily activities, Any defects identified during the process should be rectified immediately and Safety protocols must continue to be adhered to at all times.
The District Coordinating Director expressed satisfaction with the progress of work but emphasized the need for timely completion and strict adherence to quality standards. He reiterated management’s commitment to ensuring the successful execution of all Assembly projects for the benefit of staff and the public.
