In line with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended by Act 914, the Asutifi North District Assembly organized a Competitive Tendering Exercise on Thursday, 6th November 2025, to procure contractors for selected development projects within the district. The exercise was conducted to ensure transparency, fairness, value for money, and accountability in the award of public contracts. A total of nine (9) projects were tendered for under the exercise.
The competitive tendering was supervised and conducted by the District Tender Committee, comprising: The District Coordinating Director (Chairperson), District Finance Officer, District Works Engineer, District Planning Officer, District Procurement Officer (Secretary), representative from the Internal Audit Unit and Other co-opted technical officers as required.
The competitive tendering exercise conducted on 6th November 2025 for nine (9) district projects was successful and complied fully with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act. The process ensured transparency, competitiveness, and accountability, paving the way for effective implementation of development projects across the district.
