The Asutifi North District Assembly convened a consultative meeting at the District Assembly Hall on 2nd July, 2025 to engage stakeholders from Kenyasi No.1 Area Council and Kenyasi No.2 Town Council on the review of the 2026 fee fixing resolution.
The meeting formed part of the Assembly’s effort to ensure transparency, accountability and stakeholder participation in the local governance process.
The District Coordinating Director, Mr. Samuel Badu Baiden chaired the meeting on behalf of District Chief Executive. In his welcome remarks, he emphasized the importance of the fee-fixing process and encouraged all present to make constructive contributions.
The District budget analyst presented the 2025 fee-fixing which called for various stakeholders to make review of each fee-fixing item.
After extensive deliberation, the meeting reached a consensus on several revisions to the fee-fixing resolution. These revisions aimed to balance the District Financial needs with residents and businesses ability to pay fees.
