The Asutifi North District Assembly held a meeting with Newmont Ghana Gold Limited and Kofi Job Company Limited on 12th July, 2022 to discuss the construction of Kenyasi to Hwidiem road.
The District Chief Executive pleaded with the construction company to speed up as the dusty nature of the road causes chronic disease to motorist.
The project will be funded by the Government of Ghana in collaboration with Newmont Ghana Gold Limited. The construction work is expected to start on July, 2022 and complete within 18 months.
