A site meeting with contractors working on various projects within the Asutifi North District was held on 12th August, 2026 at the Asutifi North District Assembly Conference Hall. The meeting was organized to review the progress of ongoing works and assess the level of implementation of the various projects.
During the meeting, the contractors presented updates on the progress of work undertaken on their respective projects. The presentations covered the works completed to date, ongoing activities, challenges encountered, and the expected timelines for the completion of outstanding works.
The progress reports enabled the Assembly to assess the current status of the projects and identify areas requiring attention to ensure that works are executed according to the approved designs, specifications and agreed timelines.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the contractors and the Assembly’s technical team to discuss issues affecting project implementation. Particular attention was given to the pace of work, quality of workmanship, adherence to project specifications and the need for contractors to maintain their work schedules.
Contractors were encouraged to intensify work on projects that were progressing slowly and ensure that all outstanding works are completed within the agreed contractual periods.
The site meeting was useful in providing Management and the relevant technical officers with an overview of the progress of ongoing projects. The presentations by the contractors also provided a basis for further monitoring and follow-up to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and to the required standards.
