The Spatial Planning Committee of the Asutifi North District Assembly held a meeting on Wednesday, 29th January, 2025, at the District Assembly Hall to deliberate on and approve proposed developmental projects within the District. The meeting was convened in line with the Committee’s mandate to ensure orderly physical development and compliance with planning regulations.
The primary purpose of the meeting was to consider and approve three (3) proposed developmental projects within the Asutifi North District, in accordance with the District Spatial Development Framework and existing planning regulations.
The Committee examined the potential environmental and social impacts of the project and confirmed that necessary preliminary requirements had been met.
Developers were reminded to follow approved plans to avoid unauthorised developments strictly, Departments were encouraged to strengthen inter-agency collaboration during project implementation. The Committee emphasised the importance of sustainable development and environmental protection.
The Spatial Planning Committee successfully approved three developmental projects aimed at promoting orderly growth and socio-economic development within the Asutifi North District.
