The Director of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Prof. Jinapor, undertook a working visit to selected tertiary institutions in Kenyasi No. 1 and Kenyasi No. 2 within the Asutifi North District. The visit formed part of efforts to assess the state of tertiary and TVET-related education, engage Nananom, and explore opportunities for strengthening technical and vocational education in the District.
The delegation inspected lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, hostels, libraries, and other key facilities. Particular attention was paid to facilities relevant to technical, vocational, and practical training.
He emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening TVET education and assured the institutions of support through policy direction, partnerships, and capacity-building initiatives.
The visit by the TVET Director, Prof. Jinapor, was successful and productive. It strengthened collaboration between the TVET Directorate and tertiary institutions in Kenyasi and highlighted opportunities for expanding skills-based education in the Asutifi North District.
