The Asutifi North District Assembly held a stakeholders’ engagement on the proposed 24-hour market initiative on 23rd April, 2026 at the Office of the District Chief Executive. The engagement brought together relevant stakeholders to discuss the implementation and effective management of the initiative within the District.
The engagement was organized to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to deliberate on the proposed 24-hour market, its expected benefits and the measures required to ensure its successful implementation.
The discussions also focused on the participation of traders, transport operators and other relevant stakeholders, as well as the need for effective coordination and management of the market.
