The National Development Commission (NDP) in collaboration with Millennium Excellence Foundation on 1st March, 2024 presented an award to the Asutifi North District Assembly at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly Auditorium. The award was in recognition for the best ten (10) performed district, municipal and metropolitan assemblies in sanitation sector in Ghana which Asutifi North District Assembly was placed 6th among the 261 MMDAs in the 2022 District league table.
The Distinguished DCE, Hon. Anthony Mensah, the District Coordinating Director, District Environmental Health Officer, Presiding Member and one Assembly member received the award on behalf of the Assembly.
The award ceremony was graced by His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo and His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II.
