The District Health Directorate embarked on the distribution of the onchocerciasis tab to the people of Gyedu in the Asutifi North District, which took place from 2nd to 14th June 2022.
The onchocerciasis drug was distributed to people living along the Tano River in the District. People around Tano River are mostly affected with onchocerciasis which could lead to blindness
