SOD CUTTING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 1 NO. 2 STOREY 6 – UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AT COLLEGE OF NURSING, NTOTROSO

The Asutifi North District Assembly, led by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Anthony Mensah together with the Paramount Chief of Ntotroso Traditional Council, Barima Twireko Ampem III and Nananom on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 cut–sod for the construction of 1 No. 2 storey 6-unit Classroom Block with 8 No. Urinal and 8 No. W/C toilets for Ntotroso College of Nursing at Ntotroso.

Addressing the gathering at Ntotroso College of Nursing, Hon. Anthony Mensah mentioned that, the Assembly was constructing the project to expand the infrastructure capacity of the College to improve teaching and learning. He further indicated that, the project is expected to be completed within a year and urged the contractor (Miracle Construction Limited) to use quality materials to do quality work and take into consideration the timeline for the completion of the project.

In his remarks, the Paramount Chief of Ntotroso Traditional Council, Barima Twireko Ampem III commended the Assembly for the initiative to construct a two (2) storey classroom block for Ntotroso College of Nursing. He appealed to the contractor to do his best to meet the timeline of the project. He assured him (contractor) that, Nananom will give him all the necessary support needed to successfully complete the construction of the project.

Barima Twireko Ampem III also advised the Assembly to keenly supervise the construction process of the project for quality, speedy and timely completion to avoid overruns.

In his closing remarks, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Anthony Mensah said the Assembly will continue to implement its developmental agenda by improving the livelihood of the people in the District through the provision of essential infrastructure in the health sector. He expressed his profound gratitude to the Nananom of Ntotroso Traditional Council and also assured the School management of an expedited construction to ensure that the project goes as expected.
