The management of the Asutifi North District Assembly met with the team from Resource Conservation Initiative (RESCONI) an NGO on 29th January, 2024 to discuss issue of Resource Conservation particularly on how to protect the forestry in mining affected areas.
The main issues discussed during the meeting were land acquisition for tree seedling nurseries, investment in the local communities, job opportunities as well as roles and responsibilities of relevant stakeholders in protecting the degraded land.
