On 31ST January 2024, the technical sub-committee met at the district Assembly Hall
During their inspection, it was observed that a formal Assembly member refused to pay a building permit to the district.
Because of that, the technical sub-committee summoned the Honourable member to the committee to explain and pay a penalty for the offence he committed.
The Honourable member apologised to the committee and he admitted to paying the penalty.
The committee appreciated the Hon. Member for responding to the committee summons.
