Construction of the New Administration Block at OLA Senior High School

On 12th August 2024, the construction of a new administration block at OLA Senior High School was officially inaugurated. The project, which is being overseen by the Ghana Education Service (GES) and school management, aims to improve the administrative infrastructure of the school and enhance the overall functionality of its operations. This construction comes at a critical time, as the school’s growing student population has created a need for expanded and modernized office spaces.

The event brought together school authorities, the teaching and non-teaching staff, students, members of the OLA Senior High School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), local government officials, and community members.

The construction is expected to be completed within 12 months, with the target date for completion set for August 2025. The project is being funded by the Ghana Education Service (GES) in partnership with the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The budget allocation covers all aspects of construction, including materials, labor, and furnishing.

The construction of the new administration block at OLA Senior High School is a pivotal development that will greatly enhance the school’s administrative capacity. Once completed, the building will provide a modern, efficient workspace for staff and a better-organized system for serving students and visitors. The project signifies the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and will contribute to its goal of providing high-quality education in a well-managed environment.

As construction progresses, the school community and local authorities will continue to collaborate to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget. The successful completion of this project will mark another milestone in the development of OLA Senior High School as a leading educational institution.
