A stakeholder engagement on cooperate mining was held on 4th September 2026 at the Asutifi North District Assembly Hall, Kenyasi. The engagement brought together key stakeholders and representatives from various groups within the district to discuss issues relating to community mining and its effects on the environment, community safety, livelihoods, and sustainable development.
The meeting formed part of efforts to promote collaboration, awareness, and responsible participation in community mining activities within the Asutifi North District.
The participation of these stakeholders provided an opportunity for traditional authorities, security agencies, religious leaders, and community representatives to share their views and concerns on community mining.
