CONSULTATIVE MEETING WITH STAKEHOLDERS IN THE DISTRICT

On the 10th January 2024, the management of Asutifi North District Assembly called on stakeholders in the district for a decision on how to develop the district and other issues concerning the district.

The participants were the Nananom from Kenyasi No.1 and NO.2, Ntoroso traditional council respectively. The youth Reps from all the communities, the chairman of the Christian council of churches, Muslim leaders and the management of the district.

The District chief Executive Hon. Anthony Mensah welcomed all the stakeholders for coming.

He stated that the Kenyasi central market must be re-design for development due to the flawed in the market when there is a heavy downpour. All the stakeholders agreed on it.

In the discussion, it was agreed on where to relocate the market women temporally opposite the central market stores.

On the other hand, Hon. Anthony Mensah explained the cost of the Kenyasi small water system. The Kenyasi no.2 traditional council also eluded when the Kenyasi No. 2 water system will be completed

Ing. Kofi Amoako Atta explained that the engineers are on site and they intend to develop and expand the system due to the increase in population and housing development at Kenyasi No.2.

The District Co-ordination Director Mr. Samuel Badu Baiden appreciated the concerns of the stakeholders.
