On 16th December 2022, the Asutifi North District Assembly through the Social Welfare/ Community Development Department distributed some items to registered Person With Disabilities at the District Assembly’s premises.
The Items were funded by the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
The Items include an Industry Sawing machine, Spraying Machine, Refrigerator and other items for their livelihood empowerment.
They were also trained on how to prepare mushrooms for their livelihood empowerment programme for Person With Disabilities.
About 38 people received the item distributed by the District Chief Executive, who advised them to use whatever item they received should be used profitably for their well-being.
