The Department of Agric in the Asutifi North District on 29th September, 2023 distributed 100 boxes of Machete to oil palm farmers in the district.
This is to enhance the farmers to grow more oil palm to boost the economic activity in the District.
Meanwhile, Nananom of Kenyasi No.1 is leading the growing of oil palm in the District with 100 hectare of land in Subereso to encourage the community members to engage themselves in farming.
The District Chief Executive Hon. Anthony Mensah, was overwhelm with the initiative of Nananom of Kenyasi No.1, he appreciated them for such initiative in the District.
