The Newmont Ghana Gold limited launched Youth in Entrepreneurship on 19th April, 2022 at the Asutifi North District Assembly Hall.
As part of the company Corporate Social Responsibility in mining affected area, they selected 20 youths to train them in mining, welding, fabrication, electrical, refurbishing and carpentry.
The District Chief Executive, Hon. Anthony Mensah urged the beneficiary youth to take the training very serious, because it will help them in their future undertakings.
The Human Resources Manager for Newmont Ghana Gold Limited also encouraged the youth to be punctual during the training and assured the youth that, the company will consider some of them during recruitment.
Addressing the gathering, the Regional Minister expressed his appreciation to Newmont Ghana Gold Limited for excellent work done.
