The Assembly received a report from the District Health Directorate on skin disease outbreak at Dokyikrom. Due to that, the Health Directorate in collaboration with the Asutifi North District Assembly visited the area to obtain firsthand information regarding the outbreak.
Investigations revealed that, the water use by the people of Dokyikrom was contaminated. The District Disease Control Officer used the opportunity to educate people to boil the water as a temporal measure while the two institutions collaborate to find amicable solution to the challenge
