The Asutifi North District Assembly, in collaboration with the Local Government Service, organised a two-day capacity-building training programme for Assembly Members from 27th to 28th July 2026 at the District Assembly Hall, Kenyasi. The training aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and competencies of Assembly Members to enable them to effectively perform their roles and responsibilities in promoting local governance and community development.
The two-day programme brought together Assembly Members from the various electoral areas within the district. Facilitators from the Local Government Service led participants through interactive presentations, discussions, and practical sessions on key aspects of local governance.
The training successfully enhanced the capacity of Assembly Members and reinforced their commitment to effective local governance. Participants expressed appreciation to the Local Government Service and the Asutifi North District Assembly for organising the programme and pledged to apply the knowledge gained to improve service delivery and community development within the district.
