SECOND QUARTER EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING

The Asutifi North District Assembly held an Executive Committee Meeting on Thursday, 30th July 2026, at the District Assembly Conference Hall, Kenyasi. The meeting brought together members of the Executive Committee, Heads of Departments and Units of the Assembly to deliberate on key development and administrative matters affecting the District.
The meeting formed part of the Assembly’s efforts to strengthen coordination, accountability and effective implementation of development programmes and projects within the Asutifi North District.

A major item on the agenda was the presentation of reports from the various sub-committees of the Assembly. The various chairman of the sub-committees presented reports by the respective sub-committees, with emphasis on matters requiring the attention and further consideration of the Executive Committee.
The Committee also discussed issues relating to social services, works and infrastructure, economic development, justice and security, finance and administration, as well as environmental and mining-related matters.

The Revised Annual Action Plan (AAP) for 2026 was presented to the Committee for consideration. The presentation provided an opportunity for members to review the Assembly’s planned activities and programmes for the year and assess their alignment with the development priorities of the District.
Members were encouraged to ensure that planned activities are properly coordinated and implemented to achieve the desired development outcomes.

The Committee also considered the Revised Composite Budget for 2026. The presentation focused on the Assembly’s revised financial projections and expenditure priorities to support the implementation of programmes and projects within the District.
Members discussed the need for prudent financial management and effective utilisation of the Assembly’s resources to maximise the impact of development interventions.
