The South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency Grace Jeanet Marson led by Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. George Boakye on Tuesday, 28th June 2022 visited the Asutifi North District Assembly. The visit was expected to build relationships and identify investment opportunities in the District.
The High Commissioner said that the people of Ghana have been extremely welcoming to her and ready to collaborate with the South African High Commission to promote Tourism, Trade Investment and culture between the two countries.
The South African High Commissioner further paid a courtesy call to the three Paramount Chiefs in the District, thus Omanhene of Ntotroso, Barima Twereko Apem III, Omanhene of Kenyasi No. 1, Nana Osei Kofi Abiri and Omanhene of Kenyasi No. 2, Nana Odeneho Nsiah Ababio.
While in the District, Her Excellency Grace Jeanet Marson also visited Ntotroso College of Nursing to assess the state of the School. The Omanhene of Ntotroso Barima Twereko Apem III appealed to the High Commissioner to help build a hostel to improve the accommodation challenges of the School.
