The Asutifi North District Assembly organized a Compliance Indicators Awareness and Implementation Training on Tuesday, 9th June 2026, at the District Assembly Conference Hall. The training was attended by Heads of Departments/Units and selected staff of the Assembly.
The training was organized following the approval of the 2026 District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT XI) Compliance Indicators by the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
A total of 45 staff members from various departments and units participated in the training, including Administration, Records, Secretarial, Procurement, MIS, Development Planning, Internal Audit, Revenue, Budget, Environmental Health, Human Resource, Statistics, Works, Social Welfare and Community Development (SWCD), PPD,Agriculture,Health and the District Education Directorate.
The facilitators explained the approved compliance indicators under the 2026 DPAT XI framework and discussed the responsibilities of the various departments in ensuring compliance. Participants were taken through the implementation requirements, documentation standards, and the importance of collaboration among departments to achieve the Assembly’s performance targets.
An interactive session was held, allowing participants to ask questions, seek clarifications, and share experiences regarding the implementation of the compliance indicators.
Participants gained a better understanding of the compliance indicators and their respective roles in ensuring successful implementation. The training also strengthened staff commitment to improving documentation, compliance, and overall institutional performance.
The Compliance Indicators Awareness and Implementation Training successfully achieved its objective of preparing staff for the implementation of the approved 2026 DPAT XI indicators. It is recommended that periodic follow-up sessions and departmental monitoring be conducted to ensure continuous compliance and improved performance of the Assembly.
